CovidCheck

This project, which was part of my master thesis, involved the creation and testing of an end-to-end verification pipeline for COVID-19 related messages that potentially contain fake news. This means that this system is able to retrieve relevant information to the message and decide whether that information refutes, supports or is neutral with regard to the claim in the message. In order to achieve this, a new dataset was created which allowed for testing of such a system, as no previous for COVID-19 related fake news existed. The full master thesis can be found here.
